Webinar | Ukraine war: Heading towards escalation
Webinar | Ukraine war: Heading towards escalation
Russia’s international allies – China, Iran and North Korea – are increasingly bolstering Moscow’s war effort in Ukraine.
Recent Western intelligence revealed that Russia received over 200 Iranian Fath-360 short-range ballistic missiles in early September, boosting its strike capabilities and likely reinforcing its momentum and psychological advantage after Ukraine’s Kursk incursion. Partly in response to this, Western nations are considering easing restrictions on Ukraine’s use of long-range missiles into Russia, a move that President Putin has warned would provoke further Russian escalation, including nuclear threats and a conflict with NATO.
In this webinar, we will examine:
- Russia’s expanding military alliances with China, Iran and North Korea
- How international support is impacting the trajectory of the war in Ukraine
- The potential effects of the West easing restrictions on Ukraine using its weapons
- Prospects for a negotiated peace settlement into 2025
This webinar will take place on Thursday, 26 September at 1600hrs London / 1700hrs Paris / 1100hrs New York / 1900hrs Dubai. It will also include an opportunity for you to pose questions to our panel.
