Webinar | Cyber and digital risks to elections in 2024
Dragonfly is hosting a webinar looking at cyber and digital risks around national elections in major countries in 2024.
More than 50 countries are due to hold national elections this year, including India, Pakistan and the US. These votes will almost certainly be accompanied by a surge in online disinformation, as well as increased digital surveillance by the authorities risks in several countries. The potential for foreign digital interference in elections is also likely to be elevated this year due to intensifying geostrategic competition, particularly around the US presidential vote in November.
In this webinar, we will cover:Â
- Election-related disinformation risks, including from generative Artificial Intelligence
- The risks stemming from foreign election interference
- The use of internet restrictions and censorship by governments to curb opposition dissent
This webinar will take place on Thursday, 1 February at 1100hrs New York / 1600hrs London / 1700hrs Paris / 2000hrs Dubai. It will also include an opportunity for you to pose questions to our panel.
