Emergency Webinar | Military escalation in the Red Sea
Dragonfly is hosting a webinar looking at the ongoing military escalation in the Red Sea.
The Houthis in Yemen have been attacking commercial vessels transiting the Bab Al-Mandeb Strait since 19 November, claiming to target vessels bound for Israel. This has caused global shipping companies to either reroute or suspend their operations. US and UK air strikes against the Houthis last week appear to have only partially degraded the group’s capabilities.
In this webinar, we will cover:
- What developments in the Red Sea mean for business operations there, and the risks of rerouting ships around the Cape of Good Hope
- The outlook for Houthi attacks on commercial vessels in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden
- Implications for the conflict in YemenÂ
- Forecasts for the Israel-Hamas war
This webinar will take place on Wednesday, 17 January 2024 at 0800hrs New York / 1300hrs London /1500hrs Dubai / 1700hrs Dubai. It will also include an opportunity for you to pose questions to our panel.
