Webinar | South Asia: Unrest looming in 2024

Dragonfly is hosting a webinar looking at the likelihood of major instability in South Asia over the coming year.

The region will go into 2024 facing worsening economic conditions, which have fuelled widespread hardship protests in recent months. Political polarisation is also particularly acute in the lead-up to national elections over the coming months in various countries, including Bangladesh, Pakistan and India. 

In this webinar, we will cover:

• The potential for major crises around a general election in Bangladesh
• The political and strategic implications of national elections in India
• Political instability and a looming foreign debt default in Pakistan
• Global economic pressures and their impact on hardship in South Asia
