Webinar | Middle East: Instability beyond the Gaza war

Webinar | Middle East: Instability beyond the Gaza war

Dragonfly is hosting a webinar looking at stability and security risks that the war in Gaza has brought back to the fore in the Middle East.

Israel is likely to reduce the intensity of its military activity in Gaza once it completes an offensive in Rafah. But it still has not outlined any firm proposals for security and governance for the territory beyond the current phase of the war. Some Israeli troops will almost certainly remain there for the rest of the year, which would motivate regional armed groups to carry out more attacks across the Middle East. All of this is sustaining a challenging environment for Western organisations in the region into 2025.

In this webinar, we will cover:

  • Scenarios for the trajectory of the Gaza war until the end of the year
  • Prospects of a direct conflict between Israel and Hezbollah or Iran
  • The outlook for armed groups operating within Yemen, Syria and Iraq
  • Associated threats to and risks for Western organisations operating in the region

This webinar will take place on Thursday, 11 April at 1100hrs New York / 1600hrs London / 1700hrs Paris / 1900hrs Dubai. It will also include an opportunity for you to pose questions to our panel.
